Take It To The Street

We just released a new album titled “Take it to the street”. This album has more of a Rock-Blues kind of feel and was a really fun project to write. the drums all came out of the box and almost all of the instrumentation came out of my Yamaha s90es. Sonically I was looking for more of a edge, a strong mix with a loud appeal. I tried to make the vocals sound raw with a lot of emotion. I also experimented with layered back ground vocals. All in all I am really pleased with the overall sound and feel of the album. I also wanted the main track of the album to be the album title as well. The album art is a shot of my home town New Castle, which I thought fit the vibe of the message.
